Aimed at primary school teachers and middle leaders
- Through participating in this one-day course, delegates will recognise how the New National Curriculum and the CiF provide an opportunity to enhance and improve the quality teaching and learning. Delegates will explore how to use a variety of formative and summary assessment strategies to support high quality teaching and maximise learning
This course will also provide delegates with an approach to researching, piloting and developing new teaching and assessment approaches when they return to their schools
Aims
- Drive improvements to the quality of teaching learning and assessment
- Gain a greater understanding of how range of assessment strategies can improve outcomes for all pupils
- Consider the changes to the CIF and how they impact on teaching, learning and assessment in your school
- Develop reflective practitioners who will inspire change
